We Did It!

Debut day has come and gone, and I am left feeling... quite speechless to be honest.

The amount of love and encouragement I have received throughout my publishing journey has been so amazing, and to watch it pay off yesterday was unreal.

We topped the Amazon charts, becoming the #1 New Release for Children's Dystopian Fiction, and made it to #3 Best Seller in the genre.

Right now it is STILL sitting at #4.

Which is crazy. It cracked the top 100 for ALL dystopian books as well.

To look at those stats, and see my book above The City of Ember (and other books in the series) was insane. I love the city of ember, and I identify it as an inspiration for my book all the time.

So again, crazy stuff.

Amazon is slow to show me how many books I sold, but I can see it slowly calculating as the hours go on.

I feel incredibly lucky, and incredibly proud of my little creation.

Now I just hope you all love it as much as I do.
